ベトナムのカントー大学とMOU（合意覚書）を締結しました。

2023年9月27日、ベトナム南部の国立大学であるカントー大学とMOUを締結しました。サグリがベトナム南部で実施中のカーボンクレジット創出事業や、カントー大学がJICAと実施中の技術協力プロジェクトでの協業を行っていきます。サグリは引き続き、新興国の農家のために事業を推進していきます。

On the afternoon of September 27, 2023, Can Tho University signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Sagri Corporate Private Limited – one of the most prominent Japanese start-ups already operating globally with cutting-edge remote sensing technology in agricultural lands and social impact through its business model.

1. Based upon the principle of respect for each other’s independence and mutual benefit, the parties will carry out the following programs:

(1) Exchange CTU academics and Sagri professionals to boost knowledge sharing and research collaboration;

(2) Offer internship programs at Sagri for students to gain practical industry exposure and exchange with professors, lecturers, research scholars, and staff members.

(3) Exchange of undergraduate and graduate students;

(4) Exchange of scientific materials, publications, and other information of mutual interest;

(5) Collaborative activities such as joint research, symposia, etc.

・カントー大学 (Can Tho University）とは

ベトナム南部にある国立総合大学。南部メコンデルタ地帯のカントー省省都（ホーチミン市から約170キロ）に位置する。日本のODA（円借款）によって建設された研究施設を有し、農業分野における研究・教育能力の強化を行っています。現在もJICAの技術協力プロジェクトが実施されており、日本との結びつきも強い大学です。
