(Headquarters: Tamba City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan; CEO: Shunsuke Tsuboi; hereinafter \u201cSagri\u201d) today announced that its carbon credit generation project (Project ID: 5663), submitted to the global carbon credit standard body Verra, has entered the public comment period under the Methodology for Improved Agricultural Land Management (VM0042).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Details of the project are available on the Verra Registry:<br><a href=\"https:\/\/registry.verra.org\/app\/projectDetail\/VCS\/5663\">https:\/\/registry.verra.org\/app\/projectDetail\/VCS\/5663<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>This project is one of the early adopters of Verra\u2019s newly approved methodology module, VT0014 (Methodology for Digital Soil Mapping)\u2014released on August 26, 2025\u2014combined with Sagri\u2019s proprietary satellite data analysis technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The VT0014 module enables the measurement and monitoring of Soil Organic Carbon (SOC) changes using digital soil mapping. By adopting this technology, the need for extensive on-site soil sampling is significantly reduced, minimizing the burden on participating farmers and enabling efficient scaling up of the project area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>This project builds upon the collaboration announced on December 23, 2024, between Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd. and Lam Son Sugar Joint Stock Corporation (LASUCO).
