On March 28, 2025, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) released the “Guidance on Visualizing Impact in Rural Areas,” in which Sagri Co., Ltd.’s farmland matching initiative, “NINATABA,” was featured as one of the leading examples. This initiative utilizes satellite data and AI technology to address agricultural and environmental challenges.
About the Study Group on Social Impact in Rural Areas
The Study Group, organized by MAFF’s Rural Development Bureau, focuses on solving issues facing rural areas. The group aims to strengthen the foundation of food supply and agriculture, forestry, and fisheries in depopulating regions by utilizing external industries, human resources, and private-sector funding. Additionally, the group works to visualize the social impact of solving these issues to encourage corporate support.
