Sagri Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Tamba, Hyogo, Japan; CEO: Shunsuke Tsuboi; hereinafter “Sagri”), a company committed to solving agricultural and environmental challenges through the use of satellite data and AI, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with FL 360 (PTY) LTD (hereinafter “FL360”) of South Africa to strengthen collaboration in the agricultural sector.
Through this MOU, both parties will jointly explore new opportunities to develop digital solutions for farming communities across Sub-Saharan Africa, fostering mutual understanding and cooperation.
Sagri brings expertise in satellite data analysis and AI technologies to enable visualization and efficiency in agricultural operations. FL360 contributes its local networks and smallholder farmer support know-how, and together the companies aim to:
- Reduce burdens and improve productivity in agricultural fields
- Promote sustainable farming with reduced environmental impact
