By automating and simplifying complex, specialized accounting processes compliant with international standards, it significantly reduces the operational burden on companies and producers. This enables transparent, accurate, and reliable accounting activities at every stage—from data collection on the farm to audit-ready reporting at the enterprise level—even without specialized accounting knowledge.

In recent years, responding to initiatives like the SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative) FLAG guidance has become urgent, requiring the accounting of GHG (greenhouse gas) emissions and removals across entire supply chains.

The agricultural sector is not only a source of GHG emissions but also holds significant potential as a “carbon removal source” by sequestering CO2 into farmland soil. This soil carbon sequestration (increase in soil organic carbon) also enhances soil water retention and fertility, drawing attention as an “adaptation measure” that mitigates the impact of climate change-induced droughts and extreme weather on agricultural production, thereby increasing resilience.

Accurately measuring and visualizing these farmland carbon removals based on scientific evidence is essential for food and agriculture-related companies to achieve targets like SBTi-FLAG and promote decarbonized management.

However, a key challenge in agricultural and land-sector carbon accounting has been that implementing scientifically reliable MRV (Measurement and Verification) requires high levels of expertise and cost.
