Sagri’s Kobayashi to Speak at Ministry of the Environment Seminar on “The Future of GOSAT-GW/TANSO-3 Greenhouse Gas Observation Data Utilization”
Sagri Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that Takeshi Kobayashi, Project Manager of the Applied Science Room, Engineering Department, will be a panelist at the upcoming seminar, “The Future of ‘GOSAT-GW’ TANSO-3 Greenhouse Gas Observation Data Utilization: Towards Expanding Business Use.” Hosted by the Ministry of the Environment, Japan, the event will take place on Thursday, June 25, 2026.
This seminar will focus on the business applications of greenhouse gas observation data from the “TANSO-3” sensor aboard the GOSAT-GW satellite, which was launched in June 2025. Experts and practitioners from various sectors will discuss expectations and challenges in utilizing this data for decarbonized management and sustainable finance.
Mr. Kobayashi will participate in Panel Session 2: “Expectations and Challenges for Expanding Business Use of TANSO-3 Product Data.” He will share insights on the future of satellite data utilization, drawing from Sagri’s expertise in greenhouse gas emission verification and carbon credit projects within the agricultural and remote sensing sectors.
